This is why I think you are wrong.

First, even though the official unemployment rate is only a little over 10% but most economists acknowledge that the real rate may be higher than 17%. That is approaching Depression levels.

But more importantly IMO where your worldview is flawed is in your penchant (for the lack of a better word) to ignore current Macro Economic Theory (and thinking) where government intervention in the marketplace and monetary policy is the best method of ensuring economic gowth and stability.

This is what I believe is what most economists in this world believe. Is there any evidence to suggest that this theory or way of thinking is wrong?
