I don't think the soft approach works with this repeat offender. In December 2008, Bokhary was sentenced at Eastern Magistracy to 240 hours of community service for assaulting a policewoman and a taxi driver. She was also ordered to pay the taxi driver HK$1,000 as compensation. For her own safety, an accidental trip on the stairs to a mandatory prison cell might do her some good.
