The iPad is a simple device for browsing, e-mail and photos without the boot times, operating systems, size and complexity hassles of a notebook PC. We have desktops and laptops for number crunching and intensive computer tasks, but starting a computer to do mundane tasks - my wife and I would love to scan my e-mail and access CNN with the ease and portability of opening a magazine. My 86 year old mother-in-law is gonna love the iPad for the photo apps. . While the techies are whining about this and that, Job has again focused with laser intensity on the consumer experience - and produced a winner.
