I support the German law....too many kids are being undereducated in this country under the guise of "home schooling". I know some with excellent results but there are a lot out there getting home schooling to get more religion, avoid bad influences and drugs, or just to avoid school.

Turnabout is fair play, I suppose. Do you know that German courts routinely grant custody to Germans with American spouses who get their kids to Germany? Under the German Constitution, which we wrote, children are better protected there than here.
