Today I got some CUZ-A, yielding 9%. In the fall they had a secondary on the REIT common stock, adding some buffer to the preferreds.

A few days ago I added to my NNN position, yielding about 7%.

I'm heavily in the REIT sector, preferreds and stocks. One of my major holdings is HRP-D. Also, have a major holding in DDT, a special debt issuance of Dillards Stores (DDS). Since Dillards owns most of their own stores, one can consider them similarly to a REIT, with DDT being a preferred.

A toe is better than nothing. Congrats! Let us know how it plays out. I love it when a person has the confidence to post what they are doing at the time, as opposed to " I sold yada yada that I bought lower two weeks ago ". I think most fear being shown to be wrong, like we all haven't been at one time or another, and we won't be again.

Used my available cash in my IRA to purchase 150 UVE @ 5.53 today. Not much, but 9.7% if the same dividend as last year. Next dividend announcement would be their normal raise if they follow their pattern.
