It's OK to criticize the Constitution. In many ways, it's a flawed document. ex - California has the same number of Senators as Wyoming.

This is not a flaw. It is a characteristic. The senate was designed to give each state an equal voice. The house was designed to give a voice to each state based on population. The house and the senate balance each other so that states with greater populations cannot unduly dominate states with lower populations and vice versa.

Looking at the senate alone without looking at the relationship with the house is just not intellectually honest.

That was one of the elements of the constitution to preserves states rights. If the number of Senators per state were proportional to the populations the lesser populated states would have no voice.

You are wrong. That isn't a flaw, but one of the perfections of the constitution.

If the number of senators was apportioned in the same way as the House of Reps, the largest states would always set the agenda for all the others. You see, Ken, the founders of the US who wrote the Constitution and Declaration of Independence were much smarter than Obama & you. They knew exactly what they were doing after centuries of European trial & error. Most were students of that history and close enough to the original immigrant generation to have learned the crucial lesson that the people must be protected from a sprawling, unwieldy, dictatorial government. The Constitution they wrote has been amended in the past, but as of today perfectly serves those whose rights it was meant to protect. It's foolish to tinker with the wisdom of the ages - modern men & women just aren't intelligent enough to improve on the founders creation.

Flawed document indeed....California needs to prove they deserve a senator, let alone two.
