Addi-- I recommend everyone on the thread have a look at the latest report by CTI as an example of clear, concise and complete reporting. What a company that is! Still long SPNSF

Well, maybe I can understand now why the stock is slipping:

Overall market volatility and weak investment psychology (as compared to about 2 months ago). This and a combination of any news that can give investors an excuse to run away from stocks (whether justified or not) can be contributed to SPNSF's recent decline of about 38% from its all time high of $10.75/shr. These news are:

1. Some investors who hold 6% or more of the company have sold out (although not by much with respect to their overall holdings). See stocksmart.com for a Bank of Swiss selling appx. 72000 shares at around $10/shr. I believe we may see more of these in the next few days as the filing reports are made public. Keep in mind that the original target price of those who invested in the stock in the high 4's-low 5's were between $9-$10/shr.

2. Some indirect unrelated earnings disappointed by companies such as ZITL may have also given SPNSF investors an excuse to run with their money.

3. The law suit settlement is being finalized by the court this month and the judge will decide how much the plaintfis would get (both in terms of cash and more shares). Eventhough this was something known for a long time and the company did announce at least 3 times within the past 2 years that the settlement of 8.5 million (total in cash and more shares of SPNSF) has been reached woth the plaintiffs, for some reason I think this may have given another excuse for SPNSF investors to run with their money at this time!

The volume is very low and it is obvious the decline in price is not due to a large number of sellers but rather the neutrality of buyers at this time (and this applies not just to SPNSF but to the overall market).

I am still long and strongly believe in SPNSf reaching $12/shr+ by mid January.
