There you go again. If you want a union of the states, you must have one house with equal footing of the states. You made the same stupid argument again. Population does not make a union. States make a union. You have little or no understanding of states. You seem to want to wipe out the individual states and have one giant state. The centralized government is far too large as it is.

With the filibuster rule in the Senate, 20 states plus one Senator with 10% of the population can block action favored by the 90%.

yes, and without the filibuster rule a bunch of power hungry bureaucrats can pass laws that a majority of the people do not want...like obamacare.

A congress that throws together bills that are thousands of pages long that are indecipherable to even the authors of the bill even if any of them bothered to read them. And when the bill is so flawed that the only way to pass it is to bribe senators and unions to get it passed...well, thank God for the filibuster.
