happy b-day cheif, i am about 20 years behind you in age, but light years behind you in know-how, but appreciate your insights and generosity with your knowledge and experience.

happy b-day and thanks for removing the holier than though fintass

the dollar is on some kind of crack, i'd like to think it is a giant headfake but if it stays above 79.25 next week then the game has changed, this would mean more churning around like in december, fortunately equities and even gold aren't reacting that much to it today so my guess is it is marking it's major top right now. it could be the kinda thing where it bombs 2% on monday and equities go nuts. i know the correlations don't last forever but if you are watching the commodities metals softs energy or even overseas you see it is f'ing a lot of markets, and my premise has been this is a global commodities driven rally, based on different intermarket correlations. the chit with china has been a big mupty mess and i sez china has bottomed out majorly here. s/r stuff sez that if /es went to 1042 that 1000 would be the next support, that's why i don't like hearing that, my breadth chit says the worst is absolutely over, and that 1/22/10 was as bad as 3/6/09, iow we hadn't had a day that unanimously crappy amongst the s&p 100 stocks since da bottom, i know that sounds a bit crazy, the next leg up will come any moment now, they are making it hard for people to stay long here, tape is ugly but if you take a step back we have barely gone anywhere over the last week.

p.s. you gotta love this:

3 month record high puts on da q's, you think that many people are gonna be right? lol.
