No such thing as common sense per se. We learn, we do not just deduce.

If there was, we would not have taken 10's of thousands of years to figure out how to live as civilized people in democracy's.

We have lived far longer as sub humans in caves, engaging in cannibalism and slavery.

It was only when reason (logic and science) replaced myth, that we started to evolve as civilized human beings.
