ugh, bothered to turn on Matthews and with his spittle flying, he just will never ever ever really forget Obama is black, nor that he, Matthews, is white. and male. and come on... Obama unless he bombs someone big time and wears a flight suit will never send a thrill up Matthew's leg like Bush II did. you know what he is really like? he is like the creepy old man every girl knows from her neighborhood... the guy who spittles and leers. I realize you wouldn't have noticed them, Koan. that's okay. but us girls did. and we warned each other about him. I'm rather done with Olbermann. he hates Obama more than the repubs. he is a nasty man. and a small man. Olbermann can talk a lot. but what does he stand for or work for? and that goes for those 'comedy' guys, too. jon stewart makes his money by being a cynic. period. is he capable of not being a cynic if the situation calls for it?

Yeah, but koan, you seem to spend too much time talking about the "right wing". The right wing in this country is "maybe" 20% of the people. I "think" you are part of the "left wing". Which I also think is about 20% of the people. I'm part of the 60% in the middle. I'm to the "left" of center so I'm closer to you on stuff than I am to the right wing folks, but on some things I "may" be more toward their side. You guys can't just forget US because WE are the people that swing elections. Like on healthcare. WHY didn't they eliminate the thing about not being able to buy insurance across state lines and why didn't they put some caps. on malpractice suits so every doctor can't be driven out of business by some fly by night tort lawyer? Why didn't they just say that Medicare buys MORE drugs than ALL of Canada so how come Canada can negotiate drug prices but WE can't? Why do the Union guys get a free ride on premium healthcare but the rest of us don't? I DON'T like how they just backed the banks to the hilt without holding ANYBODY responsible. The banks should have been NATIONALIZED and restructured with Glass Steagal put back into place. There should have been "some" criminal charges filed against some of the guys that lent money indescriminately with only profit in mind. In China they would have just rounded up all the bankers that caused this and shot them in the head. In THIS country we bale them out and let them give out billion dollar bonuses. I'm just TICKED about the whole deal and I'm especially ticked about this Whitehouse NOT having any idea how this was going to play out. We could actually LOSE our Democracy and end up with Fascism in this country.
