SB,

Do they control China too? I ask that, because I wonder about how plans work when they are not complete. Do Chinese with Dollars beat the masters to the choice assets.

BTW, I'm not talking about hyperinflation. I'm talking about inflation. The normal type where they report it at 1.5 and it is really 2.3. Repeat, over and over, just like MOST of the past 97 years (in the context of the current beast we call the Fed).

Why? It is how the game is designed and it makes everything easier. Eventually housing catches a real bid. Eventually US wages have something of an adjustment (not complete or at par) with the competitive levels of China/India. This is long process and the west will enjoy a higher standard for a long time to come.

This is not 1929. A depression now would be a very different experience for everyone. You have millions of people with debt, weapons, and nothing to lose. Most important, they have information. It didn't take the average idiot but a year to figure out the banks robbed the public till. This time, you would have a real class war, with real bullets.

Then there is the political/election thing, but that is a whole other discussion.
