The government's traditionally enforced safety standards on automobiles sold in the United States. But the government didn't always own a car company. So you'd expect the media to take a hard look when the government's roles as regulator and competitor converge.

I see.....you all are such fair people you are worried that the feds may be screwing over a foreign car company in favor of an American car company. Bwwwaaaa....hahahahaha!

Why do you embarrass yourself this way?

BTW the sticky pedal problem has caused some serious accidents and I think killed a few people. In addition, Europe is forcing Toyota to recall their cars as well. Don't let the facts get in the way of your ODS.

Did our Sec. of Transportation also order a recall of cars in Europe and Asia???? Why the CEO of Toyota apologize (its cultural in Japan).... RE; Sessions (ALA) and his engine plant..the problem is not engines although production might be stopped. That's why American cars suck compared to Asian cars..they don't give a shit about safety if it stops production. The problem is a linkage made by an American company in Canada.... CTS, I think. But for your benefit, it was Obama personally sabotaging all of those parts....What a jerk you are.
