"you've won a full year's free access to my stock and options pages!
(Yeah, I know, big deal. Maybe I'll charge everyone else a fee to make your prize
more valuable. :)"

Doug,

You're welcome! In lieu of a full years membership, simply send me all the money I lost in the recent crash and we'll call it even.

"your next mission, should you choose to accept it, is to figure out whymy option page isn't calculating the volatility for lots of Nov calls."

Seriously though, thanks for fixing the bug so quickly. Keep up the great work!

Best regards,
-Mark

Doug, while I haven't verified this, I think that you'll find the additional (and significantly more expensive) options shown in January are actually for future years...they are LEAPS, thus, the different symbol.

Doug,

The second set of AMD jan options are the leaps for 1999. Look at the symbol for the second set of Jan options.

Happy Trading,

Phil
