Jack: If you read my missives on the Golddiger thread, you would know that I am far from being a gold bull. But I doubt you will see $150/oz, at these prices we will have worldwide defalation in a big way, and no one would want that. If we do not have a deflation associated with such prices there will br no new gold mined. I know not of any mine that has a cost that loww, so all mines will close, and guess what, the price will surge.

By the way, for the time being, GPGI's fate is completely disconnected from the fluctuations in the metals. It could, howver be strongly influenced by the perception that there are intrinsic problems with IPMCF and thus by association all other DD's.
