I went into the Jantzen Beach mall in Portland last night, and in the inside portion, I'd estimate that it was 60% vacant. At first, I thought the mall was closed, but in reality, there were scattered open shops and a lot which were papered over. Many of the outer mall buildings are empty (according to their web map). I wouldn't be surprised to see the whole thing implode by next year.
