If you produce crap, being productive just means you choose to offend people or sell fertilizer.

I especially am critical of their credit card legislation. They gave ample time for the card companies to rape card holders with new higher rates before regulations were effective.

I know there must be many people, at least from what I read, who were not in the position I was in to cancel the cards and freeze the interest rate. This happened to me with one card where I had a 6.9 % interest rate. They moved it to 15.99% immediately....because they could. I had another card with the same comoany (Chase) at 5.99 interest rate that didn't change. Both cards carried some balances, never late and always paid more than the monthly minimums.

Congress shouldn't hold the door to the chicken coop open and announce that the fox would not be able to enter in 6 months. lol

Reporting Mike DeNardo

BRIDGETON, N.J. (CBS) - The career of a South Jersey politician has been derailed after nude photos of him were posted online.

Cumberland County freeholder Louis Magazzu has resigned after his nude photos wound up on a political opponent’s web site.

Magazzu, 53, admits he sent the photos to a woman with whom he’d had an online relationship. But the pictures found their way onto a Republican opponent’s web site, magazzuwatch.com.

Magazzu said he was not aware that woman was “working with an avowed political enemy to distribute these pictures.”

In his resignation statement (below), Magazzu, who has been a county freeholder since 1997, apologizes for failing to demonstrate the wisdom and balance the people of Cumberland County deserved.

“Nothing he did touched upon his office,” says Magazzu’s attorney, Rocco Cipparone. “He didn’t use any county services or equipment in this conduct. But he is looking at the options, in particular the embarrassment caused to the citizens of Cumberland County and his family, which was unintended by him. “

Magazzu was in the process of getting divorced when the photos surfaced.

Cipparone says one option is legal action against web site operator Carl Johnson, for invading Magazzu’s privacy.
