The bottom line is that greens can be counted on to oppose ANY industrial scale power.

I agree liberals are stupid and represent the worst human traits imaginable.

Well, here's the lesson Dems need to learn from the GOP. The GOP is good at goose stepping to the preset tune their leaders give them. They have real message discipline and they act in a block. The downside to this is that they give up their brains. They are all sheep. Any dissension is not tolerated.

The Dems are a true Democratic body that not only tolerates dissension, but actively encourages it. It's really in the spirit of this country to engage in debate to reach consensus as they did on the health care bill. The problem for the Dems is that this approach sometimes leads to analysis paralysis and doesn't get things done fast enough for an angry public that is demanding action. The other problem with this is that the infighting among the Dems makes them seem incompetent.

The GOP loves to capitalize on these anecdotal stories to paint the Dems as incompetent and rancorous. So if the Dems want to become an effect force for change, they need to learn some party discipline and that means sacrificing the small issues to allow for progress on the big issues. That means some bats need to die to let wind power take off. And that means compromise on nuclear storage so the nuke industry can compete effectively against coal. I'm sure we can all think of other compromises that the Dems need to make among themselves. That's the lesson that the Dems need to learn if they want to compete against a neanderthalistic, but very effective GOP minority.
