I suppose it's still an open question though whether (when the pedal hits the metal) he actually will be... or whether he will flip-flop and vote against serious deficit reduction measures (like those Senate Republicans just did twice last week....) Re: "and pro-literal Constitution?" Well... he does say that a woman's right to her own body and life means she has a constitutional right to abortion (at least in the early stages of pregnancy), and that is settled constitutional law that he agrees with. As to other constitutional questions, I'm sure we will see....
