You can't do any mass balance on that with any credibility. You're certainly NO authority on the subject. You're credibility is zip. I wont even debate with you on the matter, since anything postulated by the likes of you is probably false.

The solubility of CO2 increases with cooler temperatures [so the CO2 is not escaping as the Gulf Stream heads north].

The Gulf Stream in its cold state with maximum density low temperature and high salinity due to evaporation of water goes plunging down to the ocean depths. Still there or have you lost the plot?


Solubility also increases with pressure. Which is why a warm bottle of pop will often spew when popped open.
