Fat chance. The USA will keep the import tariff because it overrides the blender's credit that subsidizes US farmers. If we scrap the tariff we'll scrap the subsidy along with it.

Besides, with Brazil's 200 million population and rapidly growing economy you're going to consume most of that ethanol locally. Given the fluctuating production you need to stop exporting and save it up for a rainy day...

SAO PAULO – Brazilian state development bank BNDES plans to establish a credit line of 2.5 billion reais (about $1.37 billion) to create ethanol reserves to deal with future shortages and spikes in the price of the alternative fuel, Agriculture Minister Reinhold Stephanes said.

The reserves will help stabilize Brazil’s ethanol market, which has seen prices rise in the wake of heavy rains that affected the sugar harvest, Stephanes told the official Agencia Brasil news agency.
