Now that the current Supreme Court has done away with a 100 year old U.S. law that limits corporations activities in politics is ther any reason to believe that this same Supreme Court will not overturn Roe vs. Wade, which is only a mere four decades old case law decision?

I agree with the premise of that article. Democracy is little more than an illusion these days (Noam Chomsky's "Necessary Illusions" covers this topic). That was evident during the Iraq war, which built up 2/3rd opposition in American society and led to the election of the Democratic Congress in 2006, but even the broad support for ending that misguided war and a new Congress of majority Democrats could not overcome the power of the moneyed interests and political power players in the military idustrial complex. Score 1 for military/corporate power and 0 for the American people/American democracy.
