What I meant to say is that Roe vs. Wade has become a de facto law, which is called Case Law in legal terms; a decision in a legal case sets a precedent that becomes a de facto law. I am just wondering if this Supreme Court has it in them to reverse a 100 year old law and all the rulings over that time period banning corporations in politics, then they would have little difficulty reversing Roe vs. Wade, which isn't even a real law, just a court decision, and doesn't have a 100 year tradition behind it. Perhaps the conservatives feel they better reshape the Supreme Court now before they lose another justice to retirement?
