Happy to see IOC recovering this morning. Looks like for the moment we're rained out today in the jungle. Arrived at La Selva Biological Station, Costa Rica to spend time chasing our favorite birds. If you want to bird the tropics, staying at the biological stations is the way to go. Minimal comfort but great people to hang with. ots.ac.cr One surprise though is they've wired the station with wireless internet even going as far as putting up repeater stations back into the national park so biologists can access the internet from the field. Mrs. Cricket would never allow it but I could bird and trade at the same time!! My favorite bird is making a racket outside my cabin - Cheshnut Mandibled Toucan. images.google.co.cr
