That's was an interesting point of view. It seems to imply that underwater homeowners shouldn't be held to their contractual obligations because the the banks they contracted with are all scumbags themselves.

I'll say this personally and just for myself. I wouldn't want to do business with a person who walked away from an underwater home mortgage without forcing him to put his head in a vise, contractually speaking. Normal promises are no longer meaningful.
