Obama Budget Has $1.9 Trillion Tax Rise for Richest, Businesses
By Ryan J. Donmoyer

Feb. 1 (Bloomberg) -- The Obama administration proposed to increase taxes on Americans earning more than $200,000 by close to $970 billion over the next decade and take in an additional $400 billion from businesses even as it retooled a proposed crackdown on international tax-avoidance techniques.

Envy is a terrible thing but seems very common. There must be about 60% of people with debilitating envy. Those in favour of high taxes are envious people. They would rather everyone be dragged down into the gutter rather than see some people doing really well.

Their problem is that they think companies and successful people are parasites - they don't understand what it takes to succeed. Roger Federer doesn't succeed because he's a parasite. Larry Ellison has made Oracle a huge success and Katana was a beautiful symbol of that success. He was kind enough to moor it in my harbour and I went and admired it several times. I'd far rather have him moor Katana so I can see it than have some government spivs confiscate that money from him and turn it into poop flushed down a government building's sewerage [government workers show up to "work", get money, go to the supermarket, buy food, eat it, turn it into poop, go to work, poop, flush ... all gone].

Hooray for Obama - he's going to cut the emissions from those government workers. Hopefully by firing half of them and cutting the pay of the rest by half, banning air travel and selling most of the fleet.
