oilgeezer... I've been trying to learn/trade the gold/silver sector and have learned a lot the past 3-4 yrs., but still very much a beginner... other than that, in addition to energy, I trade tech (though not as often) and am transitioning portions of my PFs to dividend/income stocks across many sectors, but so far still a lot of energy names esp. in MLPs (pipelines, etc.)...

Prior to the meltdown, I was just getting started in U and base metals and did pretty well with RNO until it was bought out way to cheap, IMO... not as good in U, still keep an eye in base metals and U for signs of any real recovery, but the BDI suggests we are still a long ways from significant recovery in general, but particularly wrt base metals as far as I can tell... it's a bit OT here but would appreciate base metal thoughts via private msg. if/when you have a min.

Thanks and Good luck!

Jim

Oh, forgot to mention that stink bids and selling puts are my two most consistent winning entry techniques, so I agree with you on that, just not feeling "it" yet for IOC or BPZ...
