Crazy that it would take so long, but I guess that means there are a ton of claims which means the distribution is probably going to be a pittance.

I agree that the dates were screwy, and the instructions are unclear. I think I did everything correctly but they still sent me a letter of rejection saying my recognized loss was $0. I don't know what they're smoking or if they even looked at the paperwork I sent b/c there's no way I didn't have a loss within the dates specified. I wonder if they reject valid claims on purpose hoping that you won't bother to protest. I don't even know how to put a response into words since all I can think to say is, "you're wrong, looking at the damn paperwork you morons!" Ah, I'm aggravated because I thought I had finally settled everything related to this HSOA bull and then I got this letter. It took a lot of work to put the claim together which makes this even more irritating.

McGrath can go to hell for all I care. And I hope he's still reading this board.

McGrath pleaded guilty in June 09 and was to be sentenced on October 1st. He faced 150 to 240 months in prison.
Under his plea, he was released on a $1 million bond and ordered to electronically monitored home confinement until sentencing. Don't know if he ever was sentenced.

I guess it was my fault for not reading the fine print... I was under the impression that they were asking for purchases and sales between certain dates because losses within that time period would be recognized. Just read the lawyer-speak in the "plan of allocation" section which I must have missed before. I find it hard to believe as badly as I got my ass handed to me by the lying scumbags in this now-defunct company I failed to have any recognized losses. Well atleast the lawyers are getting paid.

This is over and done with for me, finally. Good riddance, HSOA.

Manna from heaven! Checks received today on this class action [FRG] suit well ahead of the March 2011 distribution date I had previously been given. It's found money.
