Larry,

The amazing thing is that I've made quite a few dollars with GE
calls but not a dime with GE puts. Another interesting aside,
during 1996 GE moved in the direction of the market 90% of the time
on and a weekly basis, and 70% of the time moved greater than the
market in whatever direction. I have portfolios that only move in the
market direction 80% of the time.

So, having back-tested 10 years, when my indicator reflects that the
market is going up (about three times a year), I just buy GE calls -
IMO they're usually reasonably priced. Couldn't do it last week
though (chicken).
