I support strong STRUCTURAL FIXES for America's chronic problem with deficit spending, (and which has bedeviled us, and been thoroughly BIPARTISAN for generations now, unfortunately). STRUCTURAL cures --- just like our Founding Fathers placed their faith in the ability to rationally divide power among various governmental branches, placing their hope that America could sustain a democracy and retain our liberties in the future on the rational principles of division of powers and Constitutional RESTRICTIONS on government. THEY did not place their faith in the alleged nobility of individual men, or in the ever-disappointing concept that some great and new fearless leader will come along (just over the hill! just in the next election!) and 'save us all' from our evil mis-spending ways.... And, NEITHER DO I.
