eh, perhaps the "average" time is 4-5 weeks last year - have not done detailed analysis. However, Charles and I have periodically put up charts with "cycle" lines and can often show a good fit in retrospect.

I think the Stockcharts "annotate" allows one to toss up cycle lines on their charts. Charles has a better tool. Perhaps he'll be back from the road soon and share some new cycle lines?

What I noted last year was that the cycles seemed to line up better with the lows than the peaks. Certainly getting near to one of the cycle times is a tool/warning to watch out for a change that may or may not happen.

But the time frames often shift - at one point one period worked but later it shifted to another period. So as such I guess it would be a rough tool.
