As anyone ever looked at the impact of the dividend paid versus the actual opening price the next day. For example, If INTC closes tonight @ 20.00, theory says that it should open tomorrow at 19.84 (20.00 less the 0.16 dividend). Is there really anyway to tell given the nature of how opening stock prices are impacted by other events (news, market in general, etc).
