Good point.
OJ also got acquitted and I see little reason why KSM shouldn't walk assuming he has star defense.
Which he without the slightest doubt will indeed have.

Its a possibility in civilian courts and if it happened there would be hell to pay in public opinion. In fact, a federal judge recently said its possible.

After all, KSM had no Miranda warning, wasn't provided with an attorney before being questioned, was later water-boarded (thus he can say everything he confessed to thereafter was due to fear of waterboarding .... even years later), the President, Attorney General, and WH Press Secretary have promised (before trial) he'll be found guilty and executed thus tainting the entire US potential jury pool.

And this is all unnecessary ... KSM had pled guilty in a military tribunal which Obama had canceled.

The WH's handling of this is pathetic.
