here's an update from Israel. gotta love that US brand of "democracy" in action.
Please do not equate our democracy with the failed one in Israel. Israel is not a democracy. 20% of the population have 2% representation.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi held talks with Syria's president Wednesday despite White House objections
She was not fired or prosecuted, was she?

LOL. I didn't think you could.

You didn't think I WOULD is more like it.

I don't need to because the evidence of Arab unification from tribes/clan to actual states is plain for all to see.

The only thing lacking is to unite each of those Arab states in a Federation (god forbid an Empire/Caliphate).

You are merely blind to the difference that existed under Ottoman rule and today.

But that's not to say that Arab unity has been a positive thing. Nothing but war, poverty, or religious militancy, seems to be the only result.

As Maurice and others have stated, many Arab states have been given a tremendous economic blessing and have, for the most part, squandered it on glitz and image, rather than economic substance.
