Funny, a while ago you were dissing him. I was? I don't believe so. I just don't worship him as some other do. He played a role in the conquest of the Levant, but it was the Allied western forces that TRULY bore the brunt of the fighting and dying. I think his primary claim to fame is that he assisted in preventing the French/British from completely subjugating the Arab tribes. This laid the path for the French/UK to find the most cooperative and powerful leaders among the Arabs to govern locally over the people within the Levant and British Mandate. Hawk
