IMO, the *correct* reforms to enact to forestall corportate ownership of our political process are:

1) SUNLIGHT! Full and immediate disclosure of political spending. (No hiding behind made-up feel-good names like "Citizens for Apple Pie and Motherhood" paid for this.... Clearly reveal ALL the big donors!)

2) Corporate Governance (and Union) reforms: the shareholders are *supposed* to be the 'owners', so let it be mandated that such spending must be placed before the corporations' shareholders for prior approval, and before the union's membership for prior approval, before it can be implemented.

There! Problems greatly solved (and no constitutional amendment was even required. :-)
