He had to distantiated himself from arrogant and belligerant Bush. Thus as he appeared soft, the enemies came after his throat. Decisiveness is, in America, synonim of belligerancy. Talking tough and being arrogant. For that, one need a demon somewhere to be hunted. Thus going to Iraq, and demonizing people like Ahmadinejad, N. Korea... and, of course, giving fat contracts to defense establishment. Decisiveness is do the things that needs to be done. Like ending the Cuba embargo next Monday.
