It used to be where you went to high school....esp whether it was private or public....made a difference in terms of the ivy league but where you went to kindergarten??? Yikes, that's ridiculous. Well, where you went to kindergarten is also usually where you go through 8th grade (or an affiliated school), and then you get into your high school from there. It's great to get into that system if you can do it (well, if your parents can do it for you). -Z
