Larry, not sure its volatility or price of the options. As an accountant, have never read a book on TA (but on Bill's advice am going to get Murphy's book). I just simply put the stock up on the screen and looked at all the indicators historically to see if I perceived they indicated anything. Liked the Stochastic. Seems that when the little red line went below the bottom horizontal line, and came back to the little blue line, good things happen. The real TA types are going to love this explanation! Usually, this accompanied by every bear in the world being interviewed on CNBC professing that this is the end. However, as you found in 87, and I have not yet had to experience, one day they will be right, and I'll be bear food. Berney
