Wildest attack ad ever, complete with devil sheep, paints GOPer Tom Campbell as bleating heart

California Republican politics is starting to take one crazy turn -- and we bring you the latest evidence: the wildest political attack video we've seen in a long time.

We won't give the plot away, just suffice it to say that it features a devil-like red-eyed sheep, a lot of scary chanting music, a farm, a guy in a fuzzy suit and California GOP U.S. Senate candidate Tom Campbell.

We're still trying to find out who played the sheep.

The 3-plus minute spot is found on a website called Fiscal Conservative In Name Only, or FCINO. But this is really a production of Carly for California, aka Carly Fiorina, the 2010 GOP U.S. Senate candidate. (And Carly spokeswoman Julie Soderlund even informs that the new website is pronounced "Fah-SEE-no.")

Fred Davis, the Fiorina team creative director -- a guy known for busting the rules in political ads -- gets the credit on this one. Whoa.
