Keith was tracked yesterday at 1,530 km east of Northern Luzon with maximum sustained winds of 175 km per hour near the center and gusts of up to 205 kph, and moving at 17 kph.

Keith had been forecast to hit Northern Luzon, but it headed northwest
toward Taiwan and Okinawa, Japan.
