<Our Grand Slam Technology Companies

EMC
Raytheon
Thermo Fischer Scientific
(others?)>

This is a fascinating article. For Massachusetts, 20 years ago, the list was much longer for technology and industry leaders - Gillette, Bank of Boston, Biogen, Digital, Wang, John Hancock, Reebok, Sauconey, EMC, Dunkin Donuts just to name a few. Many of these companies were acquired and their Corp HQ's moved from the state. The charitable giving has been reduced in Boston as a result and more kids out of MIT, Harvard, BU, etc. are leaving the area than in the past.

Very thought provoking
