Thanks gregor I have had you bookmarked for quite some time. Hope you are correct as I own a lot of the miners now.

Best,
tom

gregor,

I'm thinking very much the same thing. I really expected a touch to 1010-1025. Maybe we get that in the next few days, but my guess is that shorts start to take the gift and those waiting to buy do so.

I won't be shaken, but my positions are still small with respect to miners.

i will continue to holdback re-entry in Miners, today is too ugly.Key supports being broken. Here is the list of perfomance of gold and/or silver junior stock components in GDXJ thus far today.
HL continues to drop as fast as it rose, i was brainless not to short HL, it had become a traders mania stock.

Financial crisis = gold down. That is the unwritten rule of modern economics. The Privateer calls it the reverse barometer. I agree with the spirit of your prediction, but I think that the day gold seriously threatens to rise in light of economic crisis, Comex trading will cease as it did on 911. Gold up $200 will be relegated to rumor status, occurring only on Asian and Middle Eastern exchanges if at all.
