Well this thread made the "hot Topics" list last week when the market was down and now we go a couple of days with no post. I think we may have it backwards. The time to be thinking about shorting SPY is when the S&P is nearing it's highs, not when its already tanked. So, I continue to short SPY, I'm still not flat with the rest of my portfolio but I'm getting close. Each 1% the S&P rises, I Short another 100 shares.I will be flat at 98 or so. Then I have to decide if I'm going to go net short. May not get the chance to make that decision. Karl
