Health care insurance premiums are rising three times as fast as wages. Last year, health care spending was 17.3% of GDP. The Government now pays over 50% of all health care spending. This % is increasing every year. Health care spending is a huge drag on the US economy.

We should take whatever is good from it and add more good. Leaving the very bad proposed policies behind.

This is what scares me most. Many conservatives are buying into the idea that we have to pass some healthcare legislation. We are compromising on something we should completely reject.

We don't need more laws regarding healthcare, we need to eliminate the laws that stifled competition in the healthcare industry.

Obamacare needs to be rejected outright.

Our healthcare system isn't broken for the vast majority of people in this country. In fact, I would argue that our biggest healthcare problem is really a border control problem.

With 20 million illegal aliens in this country, we could solve 2/3rds of the problem just by shipping them home. Or at the very least sending the bill to their home country whenever they seek healthcare here. Now THAT is healthcare reform i can support.
