Private sector healthcare only works "best" if there is no rule for universal coverage or a minimum reasonable standard of care for all regardless of current or pre-existing conditions. In other words, screw everyone who doesn't fit the business model. Oops, they may die due to a lack of good care? Tough.

As we see every day, the for-profit industry works hard to exclude or dump those who would impact them unprofitably in those categories. That's private market rationing, plain as day for anyone to see.
