I agree on some of what you said. What I'd like to see is first they need to revoke the anti-trust exemption for health care companies. I'm not sure why the GOP is against this. It seems very hypocritical to me to be for the free market but also for giving anti-trust immunity to big businesses.

The other thing I'd like to see is an industry that competes for our business, not one that is ensured a steady revenue stream and holds us hostage to costs that rise every year, even as benefits decrease every year. Those are the exact symptoms of an industry that is not engaged in free market practices.

So yes. Let's get government out of it, except where rules and regulations are needed to level the playing field and ensure competition. First step, revoke anti-trust exemption.
