He became a big talker on renewable energy with very little real action in favor Lets see what really gets done with Obama and whether its good or bad. The real problem is cost. Real major league breakthroughs are needed before we can have the renewable energy golden age you want - I encourage to search for that Foreign Polcy magazine article I posted here. , and quite a bit against renewable energy, including his and Cheney's heavy intervention and redaction of science papers coming out of the EPA. The alleged issue there was over global warming and it seems Bush and Cheney were right. Climate "science" was hijacked by the left as a political cause.
