Did the Senate vote on that nominee for Department of Labor before Brown was sworn in?

I was watching Shep Smith at noon and Brown had just arrived in DC. The gaggle of Press Corpses kept trying to get him to say that he had come down early at the request of Senate leadership to vote against certain matters that are scheduled. Brown wasn't biting and said he has not been in touch with Senate leadership since he was in DC last week.

Biden muffed the oath of office, but he finished somehow, and Scott Brown just said "I do". Camelot is no more!

Good, it is time the camel jockeys no longer rule the roost. Time for some sandlot ball.

Scott Brown is being sworn in right now. Biden muffed the oath of office, but he finished somehow, and Scott Brown just said "I do". Camelot is no more!

For an instant, out of the corner of thier eye, some people thought they saw Mary Jo Kopechne applauding.
