So was he showing off or does he not know the conventional pronunciation? Obama didn't know. He was just reading from the 'prompter and mispronounced it. Twice. Military is a foreign language to him, you realize. It's like muffing the pronunciation of a French word. The irony is that he has Navy corpsmen serving him in the White House.

The one thing we know for sure is that BHO was not born in MA, so talking like a "Haavard man" shouldn't be an inbred thing....lol. My guess is that he was, as usual, reading off the teleprompter and just did the kind of mispronouncement that occurs when one is reading without the brain engaged, which seems to often be BHO's mental state during a speech or comments.<g> The operative question is whether he refers to the WH press as press corpes or "core"......lol.
